A perfect location for young and old with plenty of space (5 hectares) to walk and discover the beauty of the natural surroundings. There is even a small river that flows when it rains enough, where children can find turtles and frogs. Thanks to the picturesque surroundings, children and adults have fun together. The heated swimming pool is open from April to the end of October. The cosy centre of Plan-de-la-Tour is only 10 km away and has shops, a bank, a charming square with terraces and restaurants. At 15 km distance lies the seaside resort of Sainte-Maxime, where activities take place throughout the year. At 25 km distance lies the famous Saint-Tropez.

-Geen microgolf. -Te weinig kookgerief (om in de potten te kunnen roeren). -Wifi verbinding kan beter. Dit is anno 2018 weet je wel... -Geen enkele Nederlandstalige zender op de sateliet... beschamend (je komt niet naar hier om tv te kijken, maar toch...)

Wifi en het huis was vochtig.
Paradijsje in de bergen
De sfeer, de inrichting, de locatie, het zwembad.....alles eigenlijk.
De wifi: Hoewel het fijn is slecht bereikbaar te zijn, had ik toch graag een paar keer normaal mijn mail willen checken. Ook voor het bekijken van een film op een regenachtige avond was het fijn geweest. Maar, ik geloof dat de kinderen er meer last van hadden. :-) Verder moeten gasten zich bewust zijn van een tocht over een berg om in het dorp te komen of naar het strand etc. te gaan. Een tocht die je zeker niet gemoedelijk in de donkere avonduren maakt. Maar dit is wellicht persoonlijk.

Le Plan-de-la-Tour
Le Plan-de-la-Tour is a municipality in the French department of Var (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region) and is part of the district of Draguignan.
In the wine village Le Plan de la Tour you can still taste the real 'French' atmosphere. You can go there for shopping, cafes, restaurants, galleries or for a glass of wine on the village square under the plane trees. If you are a golf enthusiast, there are two golf courses in the area, Beauvallon and Sainte-Maxime.
Water sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves in the azure-blue sea: diving, sailing, water skiing and fast jet-skiing are all possible here.
From Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez, among others, you can make beautiful boat trips along the coast and to the beautiful Iles d'Or ("the golden islands"). In the harbour of Sainte-Maxime, you can get on the ferry to Saint-Tropez, among others, which is recommended during the busy summer time.
Hartelijk dank voor uw mooie beoordeling. De Wifi werkt maar in drukke periodes is deze langzamer vanwege o.a. ontvangst via satelliet, drukte op de verbinding en de bergen rondom. Dit voorjaar was een erg nat voorjaar, waardoor het vochtig geweest kan zijn in de Toren. Echter met op iedere etage de airconditioning die ook op ontvochtigen gezet kan worden, kan dit beperkt worden. Wij hopen jullie nog eens terug te zien op Hameau des Claudins!
