Loures-Barousse

Loures-Barousse is a commune in the French department of Hautes-Pyrénées (Midi-Pyrénées region). It is part of the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. In the municipality is the railway station Loures-Barbazan where a train stops twice a day.

Le Barousse, a delicious, spicy cheese made from sheep's or cow's milk (or a mixture). Originally from Sost, a nearby mountain village. Of course every Friday morning on the market in Loures-Barousse available, just like other fresh vegetables, fruits, sausage and bread from local producers. Further on in the village a pizzeria, restaurant, hairdresser, bank and flower shop.
