This old holidayvilla from 1861 is very special and has very much to offer. A home where classic and modern almost had a marriage with each other. On the one hand the high ceilings with authentic ornaments, the "hunt room" (now TV/Lounge room with home-cinema), the old piano (grand piano) and on the other hand, the comfortable living kitchen with complete kitchen inventory, the hottub, the sauna and the massage shower and the large flat screen.
In short a very special experience (220 m2 living fun) on a very nice location (1000 m2). The garden is very spacious and fenced. Here you will find several seating areas and terraces where your privacy is guaranteed and of course the hot tub. Then there is also the water with 2 small motorboats at your disposal or where you can fish at an excellent place. The garden offers truly an oasis of peace and quiet and you will definitely appreciate this.
Layout: entrance, large hall with toilet, TV/Lounge room with easy seating comfort and wood stove burner, on the other side of the corridor is the second large living room with easy seating comfort, wood stove and the piano, conservatory with sliding doors to the front garden, very large living kitchen with dining table and kitchen with dishwasher, 4 burner gas cooker and combination microwave oven, eat-in kitchen from this you can go through open doors in the garden and in the utility room (washing machine, dryer, massage shower, sink and toilet).
On the first floor there are four bedrooms, 2 double (1 wide and 1 x 1.40 x 1.80 wide) and 2 twin rooms (2 x 1.20 wide and 2 x 90 wide), luxury bathroom with shower, bath and toilet.
Attic on the second floor two connected bedrooms with a double bed of 1.40 wide and the cot and a double bed of 1.40 wide. From the bedrooms you have a beautiful rural views.
The two motorboats subject to change (maximum 6 persons per boat) can be reserved for € 25,- per weekend per boat and € 50,- per week per boat, excluding the use of gasoline. The hot tub can also be reserved for € 75,- preparation costs excluding the required wood.

Das Haus, die Einrichtung ist sehr aussergewöhnlich, die Küchenausstattung ist gut und alles ist sehr sehr sauber gewesen. Schön, dass es zwei Boote gibt und dass man vom Haus aus viele schöne Städtchen besuchen kann.
Nicht für kleine Kinder oder ältere Leute geeignet, weil die Treppen SEHR SEHR steil sind, aber es ist ein altes Haus und wenn man es weiß, dann kann man sich darauf einstellen.
Ruimtes zijn ruim en schoon. Bedden zijn goed. Mooie omgeving en lekker gevaren met de bootjes.
Alle deuren in het huis klemden en daar is volgens mij makkelijk iets aan te doen. Ook alle keukenkastjes klemden. Trap is erg stijl naar boven, maar dat is de bouw van het huis en leeftijd. Als je iets minder ter been bent of kleine kinderen hebt, kan dit problemen geven. Voor de ramen hingen geen gordijnen (kamer achterzijde) hierdoor waren we elke ochtend heel vroeg wakker. Bij het reserveren van de hottub wordt op voorhand niet verteld dat ze hem op de dag van aankomst opstoken. In ons geval koste dat 10 zakken hout A € 6,- dit buiten de huurkosten om. We wilden er niet gelijk de eerste avond in. Nu moesten wij hem warmhouden tot dat we er in wilden. Dit koste nog eens veel zakken hout. Hij was ook nog eens lek, waardoor er dagelijks 25% van het warme water wegliep. Al met al koste het heel veel geld voor 3 keer in het warme water zitten. Vraag hier dus op voorhand na om een financiële tegenvaller te voorkomen.
Hartelijk dank voor jullie beoordeling. Het probleem met de afvoer van de hottub is inmiddels verholpen. Vervelend dat dit tijdens jullie verblijf het geval was. Op internet en in de bevestiging staat dat het gebruik van de hottub exclusief houtverbruik is. HIj is geschikt voor 6 personen en dus groot en ja deze wordt altijd voorbereid op de dag van aankomst bij reservering. Enkel bij de openslaande deuren naar het dakterras hangen geen gordijnen, dit vanwege de hor deur en het prachtige uitzicht. Wij zien jullie graag nog eens terug!

Oostwoud (West Frisian: Oôstwoud) is a village in the municipality of Medemblik, in the Dutch province of North Holland, The Netherlands / Holland.
In 1396, Oostwoud is mentioned as Oestwoude and in 1639 as Oosterwout. The place name refers to the fact that the place is located east of a forest. Older residential traces were also found near Oostwoud in 1962, when burial mounds with settlement traces were found. These burial mounds dated back to the Middle Bronze Age and settlement traces of the Klokbeker Culture were also found.
There used to be a railway station in Oostwoudse part of the Broerdijk, this was the Midwoud-Oostwoud railway station and it was situated on the Hoorn-Medemblik line (now a museum line, the steam tram). The station was opened on 3 November 1887 and officially closed on 5 January 1941. The station building was a low oblong building.
